The COVID-19 pandemic has been going on tormenting people for quite a while now. I think its safe to say we've had enough of it. Regardless or race, color, caste, it has affected people all over the world either directly or indirectly. People have lost their loved ones and jobs. Lets trace the origins of the virus. According to the South China Morning Post, the first person who contracted the virus was a 55 year old male from the Hubei Province in China. And this happened way back in November 17th. I have to admit, I thought it was nothing serious and wasn't going to reach me. Eventually it did though. And soon, a few of my acquaintances got the virus. It was a weird experience, seeing people I know get the virus. Watching news was always terrifying as well. The reporter would come in and inform us that the virus is spreading like wildfire. Which was why I tried to refrain from watching news channels. Another thing  that was annoying was that I was unable to eat at restaurants, go to cinemas, or even meet up with friends. So many communities switched to social media platforms like Facebook. Whatsapp, Discord, Skype, Zoom and Teams. Many people lost their jobs because of the virus too. Well, one year has passed. Life is slowly returning to what it was before. Of course, people still wear masks, but we are learning to live with the virus. Until a vaccine arrives, life is never going to be the same.
